Ail
Ail has green skin, blue hair with two small pink streaks, and blue eyes in his normal form. When he is disguised as Ginga Seijuurou, he has brown hair, blue eyes, and normal skin. Ail has a set of cards with images printed on them of creatures called cardians that take energy from people. He plays a strange flute, using it to summon the cardians. Though he loves Ann, he ends up having a crush on Usagi. This causes a lot of bitterness between them. When Makaiju goes insane and kills Ann when she tries to protect him, he realizes who he really loves. His name is also written as "Earl."

Ann
Ann has green skin, pink hair with two small blue streaks, and pink eyes in her normal form. When she is disguised at Ginga Natsumi, she has auburn hair, almost reddish brown eyes, and normal skin. Ann is the one that selects which cardian Ail will summon. Though she loves Ail, she ends up having a crush on Mamoru. This causes a lot of bitterness between them. When Makaiju goes insane and tries to attack Ail, she jumps in the way and is killed.

Makaiju
The Makaiju is a strange looking tree; enormous, multi-colored, with cherry-blossom like petals. Strangely enough, it is sentient. It bore many children, but they ended up fighting amongst themselves and dying, so she took Ann and Ail, then just children, and went out to search for a better place. She needed the energy of love to grow, and hatred poisoned her. When Ann and Ail stopped getting along, she started to die. She eventually went nuts and tried to attack Ail, but Ann jumped in the way and was stabbed by one of the roots. Sailormoon healed the Makaiju, and she was reborn as a sapling.

The Makaiju brings Ann back to life in the end, and she and Ail take the reborn Makaiju with them out into the galaxy to raise it better this time. "Ail and Ann" is a pun on "Alien."

The Black Moon Family came from the future, but they aren't all related. They lived on a world called Nemesis, having been forced to leave Crystal Tokyo [I think...]. They decided to attack Crystal Tokyo, but the only thing this accomplished was killing a lot of people while leaving Neo-Queen Serenity asleep in her palace, protected by the Inner Senshi. They went back in time to corrupt certain parts of Tokyo so that Crystal Tokyo would never exist. They were also looking for Chibi-Usa, who had gone into the past to find the ginzuishou. Wiseman was basically their leader, though not an actual part of the family. He, however, had a hidden agenda: to summon his master, the Death Phantom, using the family as his pawns. All members have an upside-down black crescent moon on their foreheads, the opposite of Serenity's. Droids are the creatures used.

Wiseman
The mysterious Wiseman appears as a cloaked figure with strange, multi-colored swirling hands and a crystal ball. Underneath the cloak, he has the form of a skeleton. He uses the family so he can get the Black Crystal (what's the Japanese term?) into a powerful enough state to bring the Death Phantom to Earth. He is killed by the combined forces of Usagi and Chibi-Usa [princesses in anime, Senshi in manga]

Rubeus
Rubeus created a UFO to journey into the past. He's supposed to corrupt the different points in Tokyo, and orders the Ayakashi Sisters around a lot and manipulates them. He doesn't do that much work on his own. In the anime, when the Ayakashi Sisters are healed, he makes a last-ditch effort and kidnaps the Inner Senshi, daring Sailormoon to come rescue them. This backfires, and Esmeraude appears as his UFO burns, taunting him and leaving him to die. I'm not sure about the manga... He is named after the precious stone ruby, a variety of the mineral corundum.

Cooan
The youngest of the Ayakashi Sisters, Cooan is very, very vain and doesn't take very well to having her appearance mussed. In the anime, she has a huge crush on Rubeus, and she is healed by Sailormoon after Sailormars took pity on her for Rubeus's horrible treatment of her. In the manga, she was killed by Sailormoon. Her attack power is dark fire, similar to Sailormars. She is named after the mineral kermesite; cooan is the word for this mineral in Japanese. Her name is also seen written as Koan (*cough cough* VKLL *cough*)

Beruche
The second youngest of the Ayakashi Sisters, Beruche is quite intelligent and acts more rational than her sisters. In the anime, she is healed by Sailormoon after she has a chess match with Ami and Rubeus tells her she's worthless, so she tries to kill herself and the newly-healed Cooan. In the manga, she was killed by Sailormoon. Her attack power is dark water, similar to Sailormercury. She is supposedly named after the mineral berthierite.

Calaveras
The second eldest of the Ayakashi Sisters, Calaveras is friendly but knows her duties. In the anime, she is healed by Sailormoon after the fiasco involving Petz getting a wand and Calaveras being jealous of not having anything like that. In the manga, she was killed by Sailormoon. Her attack is a whip, reminscent of Sailorvenus's Love-me Chain. She is supposedly named after the mineral calaverite. Her name is also shown written as Karabaras.

Petz
The eldest of the Ayakashi Sisters, Petz is haughty and power-hungry. In the anime, she was in love with Safir, and she was healed by Sailormoon after she went on a power-trip with a wand Rubeus gave her. In the manga, she was killed by Sailormoon. Her attack power is dark lightning, similar to Sailorjupiter. She is supposedly named after the mineral petzite.

Prince Dimando
He is the other leader of the Black Moon Family. He is cold and withdrawn from the others, and he has a crush on Neo-Queen Serenity, which eventually leads to liking Sailormoon as well. He has a third eye in the center of his forehead where his black moon normally appears, and he can use it to hypnotize people. In the anime, Wiseman killed him. In the manga, Sailormoon and Tuxedo Kamen seem to almost accidentally kill him. He is named after the gemstone diamond. His name is also seen written as Demand, Demando, Dimand, Diamond...

Saffir
The younger brother of Dimando, Safir doesn't hold as much authority. He makes crystal figures for Esmeraude to use. In the anime, Wiseman killed him for figuring out his plans. I don't know about the manga... He is named after the gemstone sapphire, a non-red variety of the mineral corundum. His name is also seen written as Safir, Saffiru, Saffire, Sapphir...

Esmeraude
Esmeraude doesn't seem to be a relative of any of the other members of the Black Moon Family. She is quite vain and self-assured, and has a secret crush on Dimando. She is supposed to corrupt the areas of Tokyo, and uses crystal figures to do so. In the anime, she is turned into a dragon by Wiseman and dies. As for the manga, uhhh... I don't think she has any sort of attack, anyone know? She is named after the gemstone emerald.

Black Lady
Wiseman kidnapped Chibi-Usa, made her think her parents never loved her, and aged her into the evil, grown-up Black Lady. Black Lady is loyal to the Black Moon Family, showing respect for Dimando but a bit of disregard to Safir. In the anime, she starts having visions and realizes she isn't alone, and turns good again. In the manga, Sailorpluto sacrificized herself to stop Dimando by stopping time, and the death of her friend jarred her out of it and made her good again.

Kiraru and Akiraru
They only appear in the manga. They show up talking to Dimando, and they show up when the Senshi go into the future, attack the Senshi... Um, anyone know anything else about them?

Death Phantom
Death Phantom is a strange entity that Wiseman serves. He is killed by the combined forces of Usagi and Chibi-Usa [queen and princess in anime, Senshi in manga]. He's also an alter self of Chaos. I don't know anything else about him.

In the anime, the Ayakashi Sisters were just turned evil, and after they are healed, they run a cosmetics store together and live together as normal humans.

Note: If I say "supposedly" in regards to a name, I haven't confirmed that the mineral exists.
