When the site is updated, it is updated significantly. It clearly has a lot of effort put into it, and it shows.

The Eternal Gateway is a very complete links section. It offers many places to go, so you won't find yourself with nothing to do. You can find almost any site you are looking for in here. If you happen to like Chibi-Usa, sugar plum has a lot to offer in the way of information, and it is presented nicely. The site could use some more to do; sugar plum is good but needs a bit more, and if you don't care about links, that doesn't leave much.

The author expresses herself with cute uses of colloquial expressions, and though she goes for the button trend, she uses buttons that go with her site. There is clearly a real person behind this site, someone with their own opinions, not someone who flocks behind the herd. There is a personal section, but it isn't up quite yet.

The use of all lower case is very unique and strangely appealing. Everything screams "look at me, I'm different!" It needs a bit more though; there's many link sites and shrines out there, let's get some more to do.

Everything was clearly stated and the spelling was just fine for the most part (some expressions are misspelled on purpose due to their usage, others were just plain misspelled.) Everything is very well organized and it's easy to move from place to place without getting lost.
Beauty: 5
From the start, I was impressed. The simple navy tones are very elegant and the use of different shapes is very unique and lovely. The text could use a bit of lightening on the mainpage to ease reading, but it is still nice. All of the layouts are nice. They don't seem to share a common theme but are all beautiful nonetheless. A few images are lower in quality than the others, but this doesn't really detract from the site. Sugar Plum was very cute. The backgrounds repeat on 1024 x 768 resolution, but she does say to view it in 800 x 600 (though this text isn't very obvious)
