Sailor

Note: As
the Esmeraude Shrine has a separate counter and guestbook, it will be
considered a separate site.

I am not certain whether this site updates frequently, but it seems to
have a lot of effort put into it. It is a bit lacking in some areas, but
it will be more full with time.
Fulfillment: 3
The Fun With Pictures are very amusing. I enjoy villain humor. Some of
the fanfiction is too short, however. Some sections seem quite unfinished.
There are manga pictures, if you are looking for those, but they seem
washed out. There is a good variety of things to do, yet no information.
I was left wanting more, but more of what was there.
Confidence: 2
The author has a small rants section, in which she speaks out on the SM
online community and the change of the term Senshi to Scouts, in which
she says how the Senshi are somewhat similar to Girl Scouts. The rants
are both very short, however. She doesn't get indepth into what she thinks.
She has an about me section which gives you some information on her.
Uniqueness: 5
This site is entirely original. It includes original pictures (that is,
fanart, not scans unique to this site.) There are some character comparisons
you won't find elsewhere, and they are very unique. She has Top Ten Lists,
which she created herself, and also credits Daniel Ashbrook for the idea
(not necessary but very polite!) The manga images were scanned by her.
She even has a credits section.
Clarity: 4
There's some mixing of DiC and Japanese names and terms, particularly
among the fanfiction section. I didn't notice spelling mistakes in particular;
if there are any, they weren't so glaring that you couldn't miss them.
Beauty: 2
While the
layouts all go together perfectly (they are QUITE similar to each other)
and are original, they need some work. The mainpage background is unique
but it is a bit tacky due to the various hues. The title images and fancy
lines are a lovely touch on the mainpage. The color schemes need definite
work; that background needs to go, and some of the text is painful to
read. I am glad to see a table was used for the text, however, instead
of placing it right on the background; this makes it a lot easier to read
than it would be otherwise.
