You might be wondering how I rate pages here at Rootbeer Reviews. Well, let's demonstrate that by showing you a sample review.

The Sailormoon Site of crunchy fibery breakfast
Web author: Ninny Grinny

(picture of site)

Layout: 5/5
Content: 5/5
Creativity: 5/5
Cleanliness: 5/5
Aftertaste: 5/5

Total: 25/25, 100%
Summary: The perfect site

I liked the layout, It was very clear and distinct, and took very little time to load. bladdy yaddy yadda blady yaddy. blah. blah yah blady yaddy, and such and such, and so on and so on. etc etc etc...

What needs a little work the spastic purple text in the links page, that clashed with the background yaddy ya, blah blah blah, yackity yackity, bark bark, woof meaow. blah blah blah, etc etc, so on and so on...

Overall, I liked this site. It was good, just try to fix those clashy colors and it'll be...perfect. I'll be returning. blah blah.

O.K., now let me explain it in detail:

-Layout, Content, Creativity, Cleanliness, Aftertaste: Layout and Creativity pretty much sell themselves. Content is the content-not only what the site offers, but how well it offers it. Cleanliness looks at little things like broken links and broken images, grammar, etc. Aftertaste is how I feel about the site when it's done. All are graded out of 5. If it's under 3, the site really needs to improve in that area.

-Summary: A succinct, one sentence summary of the site.

-I liked: the stuff I like. I'll pick out every little thing I noticed that was good.

-What needs a little work: this is the stuff I think could use improvement. I'm also very detailed here, as bad things are naturally easier to notice than good things. Most of these things you should definitely try to fix as a webmaster, but some things are just my opinion, like color combinations and fonts.

-Overall: Like a longer, but still succinct, summary. Mostly of interest to those who are too busy to read the whole, big long review.
