92: #1- In the
introduction, Usagi says, "All of a sudden, a very
beautiful guy named Ten'ou Haruka appeared before us!
With a beautiful woman, they made a great looking couple,
as if they came from a picture."
A/A- Why
would Usagi mention them as seeming to be a couple if
they weren't?
#2- Michiru asks Haruka while they're
leaving the arcade if Haruka made friends with Minako and
Usagi. When Haruka says, "You're jealous?" and
Michiru says, "Maybe..." Really romantic music
plays.
A/A-
Michiru is jealous of the idea of Haruka hanging out with
other girls. And the music... hmmm...

#3- This scene was hilarious... Usagi
and Minako want to know more about Haruka... here's the
script of the scene:
Haruka: Is there anything else you want to know...
Minako: Yes! Who is the woman you were with?
Usagi: Who?
Minako: What's your relationship?
Usagi: What kind?
Minako: Is she your girlfriend or not?
Usagi: Is she?
Haruka (stunned): My girlfriend? Michiru?
Minako: Michiru? Does that show your relationship?
Usagi: Does it?
Haruka: Yes, but our relationship is just more than
that... But, don't give up! You still have a chance!
Minako: Yes!
Michiru: Don't be deceived!
Haruka: Michiru!
Michiru: You're always saying that whenever you see a
pretty girl!
Haruka: Don't say it like that!
Michiru (teasingly): Oh? Do you think you can say
anything about it to me? I wonder if I should go home
with your lunch...
Haruka: Oh, come on!
Minako: A question! Are you Haruka's girlfriend?
Usagi: Please answer, yes or no!
Michiru (note: she's looking downwards with eyes closed,
and she says this in English): No.

Haruka and Michiru refer to each other by name,
in all episodes, not just this one. This is a sign that
they are very close; people in Japan put
suffixes (like -chan, -san, -kun...) on everyone's names,
but to leave it off indicates a very close relationship,
or one of contempt (and they obviously don't hate each
other!)
Haruka says "their
relationship is just more than that...", suggesting
are more than friends, and even the way they refer to
each other doesn't indicate how close they are.
Michiru refused to look
them in the eye and respond in her native tongue when she
answers whether or not she's Haruka's girlfriend. Can you
say "lying?"

#4- When Haruka is talking about how
her dreams have changed and seems sad, Michiru clasps her
hand tightly.
A/A- I
really don't think a friend, no matter how close of a
friend, would grab the other's hand when they only seem a
bit saddened.

this isn't that big of a deal... but it's cute
to see Michiru with her arms around Haruka.

the Inner Senshi were quite shocked... come on,
here's this "guy" who has this really pretty
girlfriend and races cars... and they find out
"he" is really a girl o.O

Episode 93:
#1- Haruka and Michiru go to a
concert together. Haruka teases Michiru playfully about
sounding like an old woman.

Hey, on a date perhaps? The teasing isn't a big deal, but
I think it's cute the way she teases her. She isn't being
rude at all, she actually sounds rather playful.

interesting:
Usagi: A romantic first kiss is the dream of all
pretty girls!
Haruka: How cute... dreaming of kisses.
Usagi: Speaking of kisses, Haruka... When was your first
kiss and with whom? Who? Who was he?
Haruka: How about you?

Haruka refuses to answer! She won't say when/who her
first kiss was! Why would she avoid such a question
unless the situation was a bit different from the
ordinary, eh?
Episode 94:
#1- When Michiru and Haruka are
talking with Unazuki and Usagi about various types of
kisses and what they mean, and Usagi comments that Haruka
is very knowledgable (about kisses). Michiru looks over
at Haruka and comments, "First kiss... we want to
make the most of it, don't we?" then Haruka looks at
her, chuckles and smiles. During this scene, they had
romantic music and those sparkly bubbles... They leave,
and Usagi says, "Haruka and Michiru are...
adults."
A/A-
Michiru's comment, plus the way she and Haruka look at
each other and smile, plus the music and effects on top
of that... doesn't that suggest a relation- ship? Why in
the world would they have that sort of music and the
bubbles for two friends?! And Usagi comments that they're
"adults"... I think this is a very cute scene
:)

#2-While Haruka and Michiru are
outside, Haruka says, "First kiss...?" and
Michiru says, "They're so cute, I envy them! In our
present situation, there's no room for love in
mind..."
A/A- I
believe Michiru is suggesting they don't have time for
romantic interludes with each other because of their
mission.
Episode 95:
#1- Haruka and Michiru entered the
Lovers' Contest. When they show up, Michiru has her arm
wrapped around Haruka's and they're smiling at each
other. Usagi says, "Oh? Haruka and Michiru!"
Rei says, "Wonderful!" and Makoto asks if
they're participating, too. Ami says, "Between
girls?" and Minako comments, "But from their
appearance, they look like a real couple."
A/A-
Okay, I've heard even best friends in Japan hold hands,
so that must be common to see and all... but even their
friends think there's more to it than that! When you see
them together, it really looks like they're a couple,
from the way they're holding onto each other and looking
at each other.

#2- In the contest, the girlfriends
had to go behind a wall and stick their hand out a hole.
The boyfriend had to go find their hand. Haruka went
immediately to Michiru's. Ami says, "Do they really
have such a relationship?" The announcer prodded
Haruka, "Call out your girlfriend's name."
Haruka was really stubborn at first before calling out
"Michiru".
A/A-
Haruka knows Michiru's hands really well! o.O Again,
their friends wonder at their relationship... If you ask
me, I think the term "girlfriend" is a rather
casual term, more like a term for a girl you date... I
think that they're too deeply in love for
"girlfriend" to fully describe their
relationship.

contest, and just before the last one, where you confess
your love, they dropped out.

Kinda wonder why they win all the contests? :P And Haruka
and Michiru know their friends are there (they were
screaming to Haruka and Michiru before it began,) so I
think they didn't want to broadcast their relationship...
not to mention it's a personal matter.
