Note: For the female characters that married, I included their maiden name,
then their married name.

Don't ask "how can so-and-so have such-and-such hair/eye color when neither
their parents or grandparents had it?". I may be an A student in Gifted Biology,
but I wasn't trying to make things work out genetically ^^;; I'll probably go
back and change some colors later so they are more "accurate". 



Kaze Fushigi-- Mysterious Wind
	Brown hair, green eyes. Sunao's father. Fitting name; he doesn't 
appear much.

Utano Kotori-- Bird of Song
Kaze Kotori-- Bird Wind [that doesn't make sense, but oh well]
	Long, wavy blond hair, blue eyes. Sunao's mother. Fragile, quiet.

Kaze Sunao-- Gentle Wind
	Chin-length brown hair, teal eyes. Haruka's mother. For a long time,
she is ignorant of Haruka's troubles. She's quiet, depressed, and very
lonely. Her marriage with Katai was arranged, and they didn't get along too
well to begin with.

Ten'ou Tsuyoi-- Strong Heaven Ruler
	[note: Tenno literally means The Emperor (of Japan), but Haruka's
name is written with the kanji "ten" for sky/heaven, and "ou" for ruler.
Just thought that was interesting to point out. The "Ten" in "Tenno" is the
same kanji, but the kanji "no" is used instead of "ou", so the two words
are different.]
	Black hair, black eyes. Katai and Teinei's father. Proud, forceful, 
dedicated.

Yorokobino Kobun-- Follower of Joy
Ten'ou Kobun-- Follower [of the] Heaven Ruler
	[I've seen in Japanese names before that even though a word is missing
to indicate "of" or whatever, you can assume it's there, and the word for
"the" is rarely ever used/translated]
	Dark blond hair, purple eyes. Katai and Teinei's mother. Cheerful, 
gets excited easily.

Ou Murasaki-- Purple Heaven Ruler
	Short black hair, brown eyes. Her grandfather on her mother's side is 
Tsuyoi's brother; the brothers haven't spoken in a long time. Lived
with her grandparents since her parents were killed in a car wreck when she
was very young, eventually moved in with Teinei. Haruka's third cousin; 
they're the same age. Smart, funny, sporty. Her girlfriend is Kaiou Kanpeki.

Ten'ou Katai-- Strict Heaven Ruler
	Dark blond hair, black eyes. Haruka's father. Bitter, controlling.
Beats Haruka. Workaholic and alcoholic.

Ten'ou Teinei-- Polite Heaven Ruler
	Strawberry blond hair, purple eyes. Haruka's aunt, Katai's sister. Very 
kind, loves talking with people. Is eager to make people happy.

Ten'ou Akarui-- Bright (as in light) Heaven/Sky Ruler
	Brown hair, black eyes. Haruka's late twin brother. Died minutes after
birth.
	
Ten'ou Haruka-- Distant Heaven Ruler
	Dark blond hair, teal eyes. Very outgoing when she was younger, always
independant. Completely withdrew into herself when her father started 
beating her. After getting away from her home, she was slowly able to let
down her barriers, with the help of her girlfriend, Kaiou Michiru. Cross-dresses
because she doesn't want anyone to know anything about who she really is, also
to keep Michiru from looking bad in the eyes of other people.

Kaiou Tensai-- Genius Sea Ruler
	Wavy brown hair and brown eyes. Tadashii's father. Calm, friendly.

Neko Ureshii-- Happy Cat

	Long green hair and green eyes. Tadashii's mother. Doesn't really talk 
much, too busy being housewife.	

Kaiou Tadashii-- Honest Sea Ruler
	Wavy green hair, brown eyes. Michiru's father. Very dedicated to his 
family, always trying to do what's best for them.

Inochino Miyage-- Gift of Life
	Blond hair and green eyes. Ki's father. Plays the violin. Stern 
sometimes, otherwise friendly. 

Hoshiou Rippa-- Admirable Star Ruler
Inochino Rippa-- Admirable Life
	Wavy indigo hair and eyes. Ki's mother. Mystical, quiet, very proper.

Inochino Ki-- Spirit of Life
Kaiou Ki-- Spirit of a Sea Ruler
	Wavy blue hair and indigo eyes. Michiru's mother. Uptight, proper,
housewife. Wants her children to be successful, but unknowingly leaves some 
of them out.

Kaiou Kanzen-- Perfect Sea Ruler
	Green hair, indigo eyes. Michiru's oldest brother by six years. Way
into studying ever since he was little. Always has a book with him.

Kaiou Suteki-- Splendid Sea Ruler
	Blue green hair and green eyes. Michiru's oldest sister by four years.
Fashion-obsessed. Hates school, loves to party.

Kaiou Kirei-- Pretty Sea Ruler
	Brown hair, blue eyes. Michiru's older sister by two years. Can be
friendly, but becomes jealous easily.

Kaiou Genki-- Energetic Sea Ruler
	Blond hair, brown eyes. He, Michiru, and Kanpeki are triplets. Very
kind, always trying to please, but strong. Homosexual; has yet to actually
have a lover though.

Kaiou Michiru-- Mature Sea Ruler
	Wavy seagreen hair, blue eyes. She, Genki, and Kanpeki are triplets.
Quiet, very intelligent, gifted in the violin and painting. Feels like an 
outcast compared to everyone else. Haruka's girlfriend after a long time 
of practically stalking her.

Kaiou Kanpeki-- Perfect Sea Ruler
	Blond hair, indigo eyes. She, Genki, and Michiru are triplets. Artsy, 
writer. For a long time, has symptoms that suggest manic-depressive 
disorder. Gets much better after she becomes Ou Murasaki's girlfriend.
