I guess my body decided it had enough sleep... It's 5:30 am, I woke up at 5:15 because my nose decided to be stuffy somethin' awful. I maybe got 5 hours of sleep at the most, but since I had that 3 1/2 hour nap yesterday... guess that was enough. I don't feel zonked out, actually, rarity for me! But I still don't wanna be awake this early. Ah well.

Thursday, January 17, 2002

*rubs eyes* =_= I want to be asleep still... *mumble mumble* I drank a lot of water but I still feel dehydrated, I hate that.
So instead of being turned into Rosiel's golem, I instead had a brief dream about Malice Mizer. In their nice black and white outfits but Kozi's hair looking bad with that huge curly mess. Outdoors, in the bright sunlight. Holding hands in a circle and spinning around like they're doing Ring Around the Rosie. But oh no, it isn't, it's supposed to be a music video which for some reason was showing on our TV during a program my dad was watching, while I stood in the kitchen watching like it was no big deal while drinking a lot of water and never feeling any less thirsty. So... my dream was a combination of my body telling me I was dehydrated, a stupid dance thanks to see a Black Death picture today in Humanities, and well MM isn't such a big deal but when they're happy dancing in the sunlight? And then they end up picking up Klaha and tossing him into the back of a paint-peeling white pickup truck?
I wish I remembered more of dreams... I used to remember a lot of them, I'd forget them later in the day though, but now I hardly remember any. Stupid brain. And no, that dream I had wasn't a particularly unusual mix for MY head to think up while I sleep.
So much for dancing. Too tired. I'll just do the hot shower part, except as a hot bath instead.
7:48 PM :|: Immora

Hrmmmm... I don't have anything really to say, just that I'm very tired and I'm going to take a nap. It's hard to stay alert on less than 6 hours of sleep... but if I wanted to have at least 8 hours, I'd have to go to bed at like 9:30, which is pretty impossible for me when I'm not terribly beat. Even on the little sleep I get, I'm still a night owl that's up till midnight and then usually has to tear herself away from having fun to get some sleep. I wanted to doze off in Humanities, but my teacher was showing slides and I had to pay attention.
    I love sleep. So I'm gonna go get some. Probably wake up around dinner time ^_^;
And I need to start outlining a few little ideas I had for another Angel Sanctuary fanfic, the one that I've been struggling with since July still is glaring at me. But I think it'll help to write another first, set before Capricious Angel, that way I make more of a background for myself to use in future stories. Aieee, I love AS so much ^_^;;; Now watch me have a scary dream about Rosiel turning me into a golem because I was thinking about him.
    I don't wanna be a golem, wah! T.T
In other news (ha!) I was too tired to go for a walk yesterday, so today I'll probably dance instead. Great workout. Doesn't matter if you're bad at it when you've locked yourself in your room so you don't embarass yourself. I need to download more DDR music to use, but some not-so-fast songs too, my lungs can't handle that much dancing. Even in elementary school when I was very active and on track team (5th grade 440 relay first place girls team, AWWW YEAH!) I still would get sharp pains in my chest and wheeze 'n cough hard after running. I don't think I have asthma or anything, but I do think my lungs aren't so hot. I need to build up strength! *pose* Maybe start with 10 minutes strenuous dancing (doesn't THAT sound like an interesting term) or 15-20 light dancing. And use hand weights sometimes to help my arms, I've never had decent arm strength... If you know me, notice my skinny wrists but jiggly upper arms. These babies don't get much work outside of typing and carrying things around school.
Oh wow, I really need to remind my dad to set up my webspace host, it's nice and fast, but stupid registrar still hasn't contacted me about the availability of immora.com... I think I'll end up having to get .org even though I REALLY don't want it. Ah well... I'll get it together eventually. No rush. Heh.
Ahhhhh my bed calls me... such a sweet voice. Of course I'll snuggle with you, yeah! We've been together since 2nd grade. Such good times! So much sleeping! *sniffles* I wuv you, bed, even though for the past 8 years or so you've squeeked whenever weight is put down on you... but that's okay, I wuv you anyways, and now we'll share happy sleepy time together. Yay!

I'm trying to slim down some ^_^ Not that I'm large by any means, I'm quite small, but I'm soft *pokes belly, pokes thighs* I'd like to control excess jiggle, hehehe... I want to feel comfortable wearing swimsuits again, I don't like having my belly squish and roll when I sit O.o; Again... I'm definitely not large, but I am SOFT.
I'm using Fit Day to get a rough idea of my calorie carbs 'n fat intake. When we go to the grocery store tomorrow, I'm gonna pick up some baby carrots and bananas - I hate almost all veggies except corn and (raw, especially baby) carrots and snow peas with Chinese food but never any other time, one slice of lettuce on a grilled chicken sandwich, and that's it. The veggies I eat, all there for you to see ^_^; I love fruit though, so why am I not eating more of it?! Silly girl!
Lessee, my usual breakfast is instant Quaker oatmeal - quick and pretty tasty when you don't add too much water, then it gets goopy. Not good! I haven't had any milk in weeks because I still have a cough from the cold I'm pretty much over, and I don't need anything else coating my throat O.X;;; I love milk ;.; I hate whole milk though, ew! Anyways, I also have bacon sometimes *hangs head* I can't help it... I love bacon! And... um, it's protein! You need protein! ;.; I think we get a lean type (I hope!) Turkey bacon can be good but whatever brand we were buying for awhile was way too dry.
School wrecks lunch. I can barely eat breakfast because I have to wake up so early, so I don't feel like eating then. I end up munching after second hour, then having a light lunch. This doesn't work terribly well. I have tortilla chips as a snack and hard-boiled eggs at lunch, but I'm going to stop eating the yolk (FAT! CHOLESTEROL! NOOO!) and adding carrots to my lunch. Speaking of cholesterol, mine's only 150, but I'd like it to stay that way!
I actually went for a half hour walk today around my neighborhood... those of you that know me should be falling out of your chairs right now. Me? Voluntarily do anything that could be considered exercise? Shocking, I know, but it's true! I did it! And it was a nice day out, actually very pleasant except for the sun hitting me right in the eyes.
So... there's some of my rambling on my eating right/getting outside attempts. Tada! ^_^! Maybe it's good that I had that cold, hehehe, lost like 4 pounds because of it since I had no appetite ^_^;;; Makes my work that much easier! :D I've already lost half a pound in the past week but I'm not sure how that happened, I don't think I ate anything different, and man, my brother and I didn't eat so well when we went out for lunch and supper on Saturday ^_^; But anyways! My goal is to lose 6 pounds before April, and I've already lost half a pound, yay! Now that I'm actually going to try walking and eating right, I should be losing weight just fine. Teehee ^_^

Ruining a roll of film really sucks. At least I got four pictures to come out, though only two look like they'll be any good, judging from the negative. It's hard to get good contrast in a picture of a solid black cat.
If you don't know about film developing, at least as far as public education goes, I'm not sure if this will make sense... but anyways, when I had the roll in the changing bag, I was having to use a new type of reel to load the film onto, supposedly better than the ones we had when I last took photography a year and a half ago. It's been awhile :P But, someone didn't line the thing up right when they put it together, but I was too stubborn to put the film safely into the big canister to keep it out of the light so my partner could fix the reel and load the film for me. After all, I need to practice since it's been awhile, right? Ha. Good idea, Immi. Thought I had it loaded decently. Nope. Slipped the reel, stuck together, so my film is this splotchy gray opaque THING with the occasional bits of developed areas, and a random 4 pictures that actually managed to avoid getting stuck and develop.
    I think I'll be letting my partner load my film when I have trouble from now on >_<;;;
I don't think I'd taken any particularly wonderful pictures on that roll since I'm just getting back into photography-mode, but it does tick me off to lose 20 shots because I was too stubborn to let someone help me. Great job, Immi. Way to go.
In other news, today we discovered regular cream cheese has a too-sharp taste and disgusting aftertaste, but low-fat cream cheese is smoother, creamier, and better flavored. Who would have thought?

Oh, another comment I just thought of...
It's interesting how Jhonen Vasquez's work on Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee makes me introspective... but then, you have to wonder... what the hell kind of introspection are those things turning out? They make me think about myself... but considering the subject matter... it says interesting things about what must be in my head somewhere O_o;;; *examines own head* Wow, pretty cluttered in there... hey! So THAT'S where that sock went!

I barely update this, I know, I know... ^_^;;; Ah well. So! I saw FotR again this weekend with friends, aieee I love it so much ^-^ I've been listening to the soundtrack a ton since I got it for Christmas. Much lovin' for this CD XD
I'm still getting over a bad cold that set it after Christmas day (glad it waited till that was over, that would have sucked ^_^; ) I had a great Christmas break... oh sorry, must be politically correct "winter break" *cough cough* Got cool things, had fun with friends... yay ^_^
Anyways, now that that's out of the way... I've just started taking photography III, which is amusing since I don't plan to pursue photography in college, and I haven't used my camera since last September. I still have several rolls of film to send off for developing (some weird special digital film or something.) Ah well, this semester in school is going to be SO easy... ^_~
I actually have a site in the works right now, but I don't want to say yet what I'm doing because it seems like whenever I do that, I don't work on it. I'll wait till I have a lot finished before putting it up. Don't want it to end up like my as-of-yet not-worked-on Deathgate site... Now, I LOVE DGC, it's my favorite book series ever, but I don't have the burning desire to get all the information that's up in my head about it out and onto a site. I do want to make it sometime because there's only TWO other sites for it, and one hasn't been updated in, oh, four years or something, who knows, it's been so long. I've read them six times already, so... I'd say I have some considerable knowledge of the series. Now I just gotta make myself get more excited about sharing that knowledge.
The site I'm working on, however... I've found that whenever my friends ask me questions about the subject, I am quite happy to answer them thoroughly, I love talking about it... so I think I could definitely make a site for it and enjoy doing it. With my old Sailormoon site, I felt more like I was making it for the sake of making a site about something I liked, not like I had anything particularly wonderful to say about it... Whereas with this, I think I have a LOT to say that isn't out there yet, or isn't done well enough, in my opinion. There's too many general overviews, someone needs to get more indepth... so, hopefully, I will succeed with it.
MAN! Howard Shore better get an Academy Award for his FotR soundtrack, this is quite seriously one of the best scores I've ever heard... Jaw-dropping goodness. I heard a couple of the songs before I saw the movie, but throughout... when the music was meant to set the tone, it did it and didn't draw attention to itself - which, when background music is properly done, it doesn't. The music that was meant to be dramatic and noticeable certainly was. It was PERFECTION, I tell ya, perfection! I'm totally in love with this soundtrack... siiiiiiiigh *_*
Anyways, I'm sure you are all oh-so-thrilled with this long overdue post from me, right? :P Sorry to bother you. Return to your life now.

I saw VHD:B twice this weekend and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous. D! *_* Some people brought their little 8 year old to see it... are they nuts? I have more to say, but I lost it, because... I JUST SAW FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING! W00T! Here's my post to Angelus Errare about it, and it's spoiler free!

Pardon all caps but...

OHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD! It was SO GOOD! AIIIIEEEEEYAAAAAA! *dies*

Casting was AWESOME (except Elrond) WHEEEEE! I'm SO HAPPY with it! BEAUTIFUL costumes, scenery, just EVERYTHING, WOW! The music! MUST GET SOUNDTRACK!

The cuts that I noticed made sense because of time constraints (as it is, it's 3 HOURS! WHEE! O_O ) Some things got changed around, and there's a character (you know who) that was made out to be more important... Galadriel didn't come off quite right and Elrond was disappointing, but otherwise, no complaints, wow WOW WOW! If you're an LotR fan too, you'll be VERY happy with it!

Legolas. Wow. A real live bishounen, and he isn't Japanese. Meep O_O

Warning to everyone: don't drink a lot beforehand or during, you don't want to miss anything because you need to go to the bathroom! (Thank goodness I was careful so I didn't have to!) Sit with proper posture in your seat, because you WILL get stiff, and if you aren't careful, your tailbone will be sore like mine is. If you cross your legs, WATCH OUT! I think I clenched them during the Moria scenes and now my right knee hurts ;.; Wear comfortable clothes! Be prepared in case the theater has an awful temperature! Make sure your LotR experience is the best it can be!

And... they ran Spiderman and Star Wars trailers before the movie. Is this not the best movie experience ever? *_*

I can't wait to see it again! I can't wait to see Two Towers! WHEE!

HAHAHAHA! FINALLY! I'm going to be leaving very soon now to go see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust WOOHOO! It was originally scheduled to be shown on, of all days, the opening of Harry Potter. Good idea to postpone that, huh? Well, I can't wait, even if the plot is dull, the animation looks gorgeous, mwahahaha... YAY D!
