Hehehe... thanks to my friend pressuring me, I hopped back onto EQ last night. He's using a friend's account, and has a high level druid on Xegony, so he's going to power level me there... A half elf paladin named Weinim. As for my regular... Thanks a TON to Treylee, one of my guildmates, for power leveling Lilthinia today! Treylee got me to 18, and hopefully we'll see each other again sometime, only 3 yellow bubs until 19... SELF PORTS! MUST HAVE! NOW NOW NOW!
Dir en grey's new Filth single is VERY cool. I'm definitely buying it. So, so cool. I don't have anything else to say right now so...

Don't read this section, Ingmar, it's scary for you!
And now, the story of today's frog rescue.
Well, my life management class is in the gym building, and I had time to spare between classes since we get out early. So, I went across to the gym building (binder over head to keep off the drizzle), sat down at a cafeteria table that's in the gym lobby for some reason... going to finish up government homework, when for some reason I looked over at the doors. And what did I see, but a little brown frog hopping around.
So, a few thoughts go through my head. Cute little frog. Poor trapped frog. Frog could get hurt.
I left my things on the table, and went over to the doors. I attempted to get the frog out by placing my shoe by it to encourage it to hop towards the doors, which I was holding open. He didn't hop to them, he hopped around... and then he just sat there. I think he got scared. He didn't know what to do. I glance at my things, glance to the frog. Well, I can finish my homework later.
I put my book in my backpack and pulled it on, then walked back over to the frog. Poor thing had a bit of tape on one back foot, and lots of hair and dust, probably hopped into a dirty corner earlier on. I carefully picked up our amphibian friend, removed the tape and some of the hair as best I could, and took him outside. Surprisingly, he never tried to hop away. The drizzling rain would be good for him, he needed the moisture to breathe right and to clean off. Our courtyard has these raised areas with grass in them, and a concrete bench running all around. I held him out towards the grass.
    He didn't budge.
I guess he liked the warmth of my hand, as Mom commented later. He just sat there... the grass right in front of him, but remaining on my hand. I gave him a little nudge with my knuckle on his back legs, setting down my hand... he finally hopped down, and remained sitting there on the wet concrete. With one last look, I headed off to the bathrooms to wash my hands-- soaped twice, since frogs can get things on your hands that are best removed. He wasn't on the concrete when I came back, so he must have finally gone into the grass.
And so, Immi saved a frog today from possible doom at the hands of her peers. Isn't that wonderful? ^_^

    Ingmar can read again now!
I sent this out in an e-mail to my friends and my dad. It's important enough to share it here, as well.

I'm sure all of you are getting weary from the depressing news. I know I'm having to stay away from the tv and get my updates on cnn.com so I don't get overwhelmed with it. We haven't heard enough to give us hope and comfort. Here's something that does.

This man was one of many that escaped from the World Trade Center. We don't know the numbers that were able to escape with him, but surely they are considerable. He was on the 71st story, and made it out safely. Towards the end, it turns sad, as he witnesses what's happening, but at least some of the tears we cry will be happy ones, knowing that there are many people that did survive, and that they worked together to support each other.
Please, read this article, share it with your friends and family. I think it's very important that people see this.
    God bless everyone.

If you don't know what's going on, you obviously live under a frickin' rock. I'm so disgusted and depressed right now, and the magnitude of it hasn't really hit me yet, just the incredible loss of life. Please, pray for the loved ones of the victims, for the injured, for the dying, for the emergency workers, police, and firefighters, for the hospital staff, for everyone involved...

    I KNEW I was forgetting something important over the weekend. First test in Humanities. Argh. Thank goodness I knew the stuff. I just forgot mastaba and ben-ben, and I'm not sure but I think I flipped An-Ki and Thoth because one of the choices was about a Sumerian thing literally meaning "heaven and earth" and the other was the Egyptian god of writing and such... I wavered between saying An-Ki sounded more like it would be Egyptian and An-Ki looks like it would be heaven and earth put together, so I'm not sure what I actually answered >_<;;;
Yay, Erin and I are bonding over cool online comics and ranting and such ^_^ I ranted and ranted to her tonight because I got ticked off over something... and well, I'm the one everyone seems to come to for ranting, so it's about time I got to rant like crazy to someone. I was talking with my bestest friend about that at lunch today, actually. "I'm a complaint sponge" I think I called myself (something involving sponge). She said if my art career ever flops, be a columnist, hehehe. People write in to complain, and you say whatever the heck you want back, pretty much. Though I'm usually the one being good and consoling and listening, I try not to offer advice unless it's something I actually have good advice on. People want someone to listen to their problems, not tell them what's wrong and all. I'm good at that. I'm proud of my talent for listening to people's troubles ^_^ I'm cool like that ^_^; And anyways, Erin was good and cool and listened good, so thanks a bunch Erin! Whee! Bonding is good! :D We must get together again sometime!     Well, the rest of you are probably just staring and going O.o;;; "Ok, that had nothing to do with me so why did I bother reading it..." But ah well. So what. My blog, not your blog. I control my blog. My blog is mine. *hugs my blog*

*flails arms* That weekend was stoooooopid! I was incredibly bored, so I wrote down stuffies for the blog in a notebook. I don't feel like typing it up... plus, everyone gets to experience my handwriting (such as it is)! The joy of deciphering my scrawls, mwahahaha. I apologize for the sizes (100-200 kb) to those of you with dial-ups, but well, if you want to have a chance of reading it...
