    Awwww yeah! I made callbacks for Oz *struts around* I'm stunned in a happy way, because you don't get called back for a non-speaking little background role, so that means I'm being considered for a speaking part. I'm nervous of course :) I think we have to do cold readings from the script for it, but I'm not too sure. Hopefully I'm going to be a munchkin though! But like my friend said... maybe I would be, like, the mayor munchkin or some other important munchkin! O.O! Whoooa!
    I'm brain numb right now thanks to writing that essay draft. It was so hard to keep it under or around that 250 word count, I had to keep chopping out words and rewriting everything because it was too long. I really hate having a maximum word limit that's so small. I mean geez, it's 15 sentences in 3 paragraphs. Blech. Definitely not one of my finer pieces of writing. I ended up writing about Dir en Grey, which is of course a subject I would go on about for pages, but no... Get the feeling that I didn't like that assignment? :P Maximum word limits are EVIL!
    Think happy thoughts... of lollypops and sparkles... don't think about those names you can't remember for your psychology test tomorrow... If I can barely remember the names of people I see every day, how can I remember some dude from a textbook? It's pretty hard to do that, y'know. I remember there's this guy with a bird and he wrote the first psychology textbook and I THINK his last name is James but I'm not sure because I'm bad with names! >_<;;;
    I think I'll go listen to "Kiseki no Umi" from the Lodoss War TV series because that always mellows me out...

    Ahhhh, nothing like a hot bath to relax you ~_~
    Now that I'm all calmed down now... Hey, at least there was something pretty interesting about English today. La la la, receive our language textbooks, which are brand new, ooo shiny cover that doesn't have crushed corners, how nice, it's time for a grammar assignment, combine two sentences into subordinate clauses or whatever... Well the two topics were QUITE interesting. The first was Akira Kurasawa, a super famous Japanese movie director. I've never seen his stuff but... hey, one of his films inspired Star Wars so I gotta love the guy... and I was pretty shocked to see him feature in my language textbook! O.O And then the next one was... manga. MANGA. THAT was an even bigger shock! I was just a wee bit stunned... and it was some nice information, too!
    Your average American student has no idea how to pronounce Japanese words, of course. I had to hold myself back from offering pronounciations. ^_^;
    Rising Sun has pictures up from the con I went to, and it's about time ^_^ (No offense, Maboroshi, I'm just really impatient, I know it was a lot of work to get all those pictures taken care of!) There were some really cool costumes there, so if you enjoy cosplay... well, go enjoy :)
    I'm sure I had more to say, but as usual, I've forgotten by the time I actually sat down at my computer. Ah well. I better have some chocolate. I'm sure that'll help. Hehehe...

    Geez. I gotta write an essay for English and I really don't want to do it, but I have no choice if I want a good grade! :P This sucks. I really don't want to do this, ugh. At least the questions are pretty open-ended... but we have to exchange it with people in our class to grade. Anything that I would care about writing about would be things I don't care to share with my classmates. I really don't like them getting all judgmental and giving me that "uh, you're WEIRD" look, y'know? I HATE that look. *sighs* So I have to come up with something I want to write about that I don't mind sharing. Great. And it has to be under 250 words. When I like something, I can go on and on and on about it... I mean heck, my last post here was almost 3 times that! (And I did a word count on this post after adding it, and it's over 400! >_<;;; ) Let's see, something I like that I don't mind sharing and can condense into 250 words or less. This is going to be fun. For those of you who care or are bored, here's the 3 prompts we have to pick from:
      1) Discuss an important personal, local, national, or international issue and its importance to you
      2) Describe a significant activity, interest, experience, or achievement in your life (this could be a book, movie, activity, or experience at work, home, or school) that has been particularly meaningful to you
      3) Identify a person (a friend, family member, teacher, religious leader, etc.) who has had a significant influence on your life, and describe that influence
    Oh, I can hardly wait. I definitely don't care to do 1 or 3, I don't like writing about people I know and when I do, it goes on for awhile, and I can't think of any issues that are important enough for me to write about without ranting for pages.
    This essay is really going to be a pain. Ugghh. -_-;;; Maybe the teacher will let us pick one classmate to switch with, I have a friend in that class... if she let us pick, I wouldn't mind... but then there's someone I really DON'T like in that class, and if I had to switch with that person... >_<;;; I really don't want to be stressing out over this assignment but geez! *grumbles off into the distance*

    Oh my gawwwd ^_^;;; *collapse*
    Over an hour later and I'm still feeling so stressed out and rattled... What are you talking about, you ask? Well, today was Immi's first audition for drama. Ever. Like, really ever. I've never auditioned for anything before. And I had to sing too. I never sing for anyone! So I was pretty stressed out. Trying out for the musical Wizard of Oz. Guess what lucky girl was first on the list? Yup, you guessed it... poor Immi's first audition and she has to go first. Now, the plus side is that I went before everyone else, so I didn't have to see them being so good and make me get more worked up, but the downside is that uh... I'm first. No one before me. No extra stress-out time! Phew! ;_; I was walking around, taking deep breaths, saying out loud "I can do this, I can do this," praying... ^_^;;; Yeah, just a bit scared.
    So I'm out on stage for the monologue. Thank goodness... I had been worried that everyone would be sitting out in the auditorium, but it was just the teacher/director, somebody I don't know, someone I do know hiding in a podium box thing, and a couple friends backstage. Phew. I did the Holy Hand Grenade from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with a nice loud, obnoxious voice. I actually enjoyed it... but when I got to the second part of it starting with "And the Lord spake..." I started to say "And the Lord did grin-- erm, already said that, And..." so that rattled me, but ah well, the director was smiling, phew. I didn't have a joke prepared, so she asked me to tell something funny that's happened to me and I did (I don't feel like writing it up :D ) She said to do an evil laugh O.o;;; Now, I can sure type out a nice evil laugh, but I really don't DO an evil laugh, so I just "Mwahahaha... um, ok"ed ^_^;;; I demanded a hug from a friend afterwards because I was so stressed ^_^;;; Then it was off to stress over singing. I couldn't find the girl that was supposed to "escort" me to the room at first, so I was wigging out a bit, drinking tons of water because my throat kept feeling dry... And finally I got to the room.
    Oh man. I was SO scared. I thought my legs were going to give out. The two choral director type people were very nice though, start when you're ready and all. I sang the first couple verses and first chorus of "Melodies of Life" from Final Fantasy IX, (hehehe ^_^;;; I like that song ok...) And while I was singing... someone walked in. I think I kind of glared at him ^_^;;; and shooed him out, but that rattled me, so during the second verse I totally blanked on the line. Thanks a lot -.-;;; And I let them know that I blanked ^_^; But I went ahead and sang the chorus after they said it was ok, because I said I thought I was stronger on that. The verses are a pretty high part, and I can sing high but I did kind of crack on some notes (combination of nerves and... well, they're high notes and all) The chorus is lower and I can get more volume into it. So phew. They said I was very good. I felt so happy ^_^ But my legs man... lamb's. Hurried out to the classroom to call mom so I could go home, then collapsed on a couch for awhile.
    That was definitely a scary experience. Not one I'd like to repeat! >_<;;;
    But I'm going to be a munchkin, darnit. I want to be a munchkin. I WILL be a munchkin >:E Mwahahaha.
