Joining

If you wish to join our motley crew, all you need to know is listed here!

The joining process follows a strict procedure that all potential players follow, regardless of who they are. You first submit an application to us, and we look through it, requesting any changes we feel may be necessary. Then, once approved, you will be emailed your approval, and you will be allowed to join us for a two-week trial period. After this time, if we are happy, you are part of the family!

When submitting your application, please keep in mind that we accept only students at first. After your final approval, however, we may consider taking staff positions.

 

When submitting a student, we need the following information:

IRC Nickname
Contact information (e-mail, AIM?)
Name of student
Student age
Student year
Student House
Student's personality
Student's appearance
Wizarding background, such as blood purity (Pureblood or Muggle-born? Muggle father or mother?)
Are any family members Dark Wizards? Currently or formerly?
Have any siblings (if they exist) attended Hogwarts?
How many Harry Potter books have you read?
Finally, we'd like to know your level of knowledge regarding freeform roleplaying, and the use of IRC.

This needs to be emailed to the ops, and we'll try to reply as quickly as possible. No attachments, please; put the text in the body of the message.
